I recently visited the Museum of Brands in London where an exhibition is currently celebrating 60 (yes, 60!) years of Thunderbirds and 50 years of Space: 1999. It’s a great trip down memory lane and well worth it if it’s your kind of thing and is open until the end of February 2026.
Sitting there on one of the shelves was an actual original cardboard Identicode, the almost mythical item on which I based my app. Despite being a regular reader of TVCentury21, I never owned one of these and in 2025, to say they are rare today is an understatement indeed. My app is functionally identical and of course offers some extra features – why not give it a try?
